Lean teams may balance user support, schedulers, identity, storage, packages, security, and hardware lifecycles at once. Sqoia Labs is testing whether a bounded review process addresses a problem worth paying to solve.

Clustr manages HPC bare-metal nodes and images.

Clustr is a public technical project for HPC bare-metal node cloning and image management. Its published documentation describes node registration, base images, bundles, machine reimaging, a CLI, and a server with an embedded web UI. No current release is an approved support baseline.

Validation-stage concept

Clustr Assurance

A proposed, human-led bounded review-and-guidance process. Scope, availability, and commercial terms have not been set.

Possible bounded review

A proposed evidence-led review, if approved.

  • Possible read-only review of agreed evidence
  • Possible findings record distinguishing facts from assumptions
  • Possible next-step options with change controls
  • No changes without separate approval.

If a validation engagement is later approved, its scope, evidence sources, decision owner, exclusions, and change controls will be agreed in writing.

Proposed boundaries

Clarity is part of the product.

Any future validation engagement would be intentionally narrow while problem, procurement timing, and recurring value remain unproven.

If a validation engagement is approved, it would not include:

  • 24/7 response, uptime SLA, or emergency on-call
  • Unapproved production changes or credential custody
  • Full managed operations or staff augmentation
  • Hardware repair, vendor escalation ownership, or procurement
  • Security certification, warranty, or guaranteed outcomes
  • Unlimited customization or support outside agreed systems

Our working principles.

For any approved work, Sqoia Labs aims to inspect before intervening, define proportionate rollback controls, and distinguish facts from assumptions.

Current stage

The direction is selected. The demand still has to be proven.

Sqoia Labs is validating whether lean research-computing teams will pay for this bounded recurring offer. Until then, Clustr Assurance is a hypothesis—not a claim of market traction.
